If you want to become an OUTERLAND resident, you have to go through a few steps:

(1) Find the parcel you want to make your home
(2) Inform an OUTERLAND Sales Representative about your choice

Finding land that is "for sale/rent"on the web

You can go looking for land inworld or on the web.

To see a listing of available parcels on the web, please use our land listing system.

Finding land that is "for sale/rent" inworld

(1) make a teleport to sim "OTHERLAND" (our central welcome spot)
(2) open the SL map by clicking on the button "Map" or pressing [Ctrl]+[M]
(3) make sure the checkbox "Land for Sale" is ticked/crossed

All of the land, which is available, should be highlighted in yellow now. If it is not - Linden servers can be slow these days - please check and uncheck the box "Land for Sale".

Just make a double click on one of the yellow reactangles and Second Life will immediately teleport you to the parcel in question.
