The OTHERLAND Estate is a collection of large and smaller islands in the southeast of the Second Life 'grid'. All the land here is "zoned", meaning that there is a set of rules to which everyone who wants to become a resident of OTHERLAND has to agree.

Just imagine: one half of a full region (more than 32,000 sqm) just for you! Or maybe even one whole sim ... Lots of room, privacy, seclusion and a great view.
This kind of living is a lot more affordable than you might think with our Large Area/low prim land (also called "Openspace" by some). You get nearly 4 times as much land for your money Second Life if you can live with a little less prim capacity.

If you want to open a shop and are looking for a nice surrounding for that, too, please have a look at our Commercial District. Please note, that shops, malls or clubs are not allowed (per The Covenant) on normal residential land - which covers most of THE OTHERLAND ESTATE.

For those, who want a maximum of privicy, we offer regions (= sims), which are not connected to the main landmass of OTHERLAND. We call these regions "free floating", because you can think of them as floating in the endless ocean of Second Life. They are delivered with an initial terraforming and vegetation of your choice. But you can change all that. There is no limit to your freedom.
One of the most scenic environments of THE OTHERLAND ESTATE (and we are specializing in scenic beauty!) are the twin sims of Anwin and Dulcie. Connected by a romantic boardwalk with many benches, a little pavillon and more ... especially inviting for a relaxed walk in the afternoon. If you like your land a little bit extraordinary, if you like waterfront but not necessarily boring beaches ... have a look.

We offer a lot of south sea themed islands, too, of course. Just check out our "Maldives inSL" project. The most spectacular form of island living we offer, is our giant island Nomanisan, though. It is built from 9 regions covering an area of more than 500,000 sqm. In its center there is an active vulcany (mostly harmless, of course) which is surrounded by lush jungles leading down to endless sandy beaches. You don't even have to walk our fly to explore it all. The famous Nomanisan monorail will drive you around effortlessly.
And ... yes, of course, you can own land here, too (except the vulcany itself, of course)!

Every resident of Second Life should definitely visit Kasteel Verloren at least once in his or her (second) life. This is the largest castle of our virtual world. A replica of the famous castle Neuschwanstein in Bavaria and built by one of the most talented builders, Versu Richelieu, it covers nearly a full region with its supplementary buildings. You can spend hours exploring it and still won't have seen every little room and dungeon.
No, you can not buy land here. But you rent the location for weddings, receptions etc. ...
